Florida & North Carolina

March 10-15
Deltona, FL

Counseling even in the hallway!!
The 1st night of the WAR only 2 girls responded to the invitation. While others counseled those girls, I went outside to talk with the teens before they left for the evening. There was 1 girl that decided to just sit inside the WAR room and wait for her brother and friend to be ready to go. After a while I noticed she was still inside just sitting by herself. Her brother and friend were being counseled! After talking with her for just a little bit, it came right to her eternal security. I explained what the guys were talking about in the hallway and she started tearing up and said, “I should have gone back!” Just at that moment the guys came around the corner glowing!! She decided not to wait a minute - she prayed right there in the WAR room for salvation!! Still crying she hugged me and said she was SO thankful that she had made the decision to be saved that night! Isn’t the Lord gracious?!

Minutemen bought an Excursion! The big white van has just been on its last...tire?? It has been through a lot. Dr. Jim has been looking for a vehicle to take its place for a few months. Now we are driving around in the blue Excursion. So, our memories in the white van are over. Tim & Christy Roberts have joined up with us these 2 weeks and they are going to drive the van back to WI and then we’ll see if there is any more ministry left for the white van.

March 17-22
Greenville, NC

This week was a surprisingly cold week!! It was about 40 degrees for the WAR nights, but yet the Lord still drew the teens!! We still held all the activities outdoors and even the Friday night testimony service was outside...with no campfire!!! There were more than 120 teens that came and 42 were saved!! Praise the Lord for His working in hearts!!

Praise the Lord that He is faithful!

Well, another month has gone by. These have been unusual weeks. I have not been good about getting update material. Despite my unfaithfulness, God is always faithful and has continued to work mightily through the Minutemen Team! Praise the Lord that He is faithful!!

February 17-22
Greer, SC

This week was really special because it was the 1st time the WAR had ever been to this church and school!! The teens all seemed to thoroughly enjoy it and are looking forward to Minutemen returning in the near future!!

It was also this week that the Lord was stretching us as a team - Glenn, our Recon Team Leader, had finger surgery as scheduled. Tim Roberts came in this week to be the Recon Leader. Glenn’s surgery went well, but the doctor told him that he is not to use his hand for 12 weeks. It looks like we will have to find a replacement Recon Leader for the rest of the tour. God’s Will is not always easy, convenient, or comfortable, but this is what He has for us right now. Please continue to pray for all of us as we try to be flexible from week to week.

February 23-March 8
Menomonee Falls, WI & Home! :)
Special Forces Fall 2012-Spring 2013 Teams

We all flew to WI for the Victory Conference! What a huge blessing that quick week was!  The theme of the Conference was the Glorious Church. Going into the week I was not sure how I was going to be able to apply such sermons to my life since I am not a pastor - or ever plan to be ;). The Lord still spoke to my heart in amazing ways realizing that I am part of that “glorious church”. He knew exactly what I needed that exact week and I am so thankful that I have such a wonderful God!
Many people made decisions during the Conference.
While we were all at the Conference, the team from last semester and our current team were able to meet together for a meal! It was great to just talk about some memories and see what the other 2 guys were up to for this semester.
We all went to our homes for the week after the Conference - so I got a couple more doses of snow before returning to FL!
